Giuseppe & Valentina are tense - Giuseppe because he thinks his national team might be facing England on Sunday, and Valentina because it seems all the “boys” from the tabacherria are invited to their house to watch the final. Giuseppe has asked her to cook rabbit pappardelle and homemade cannoli for 24 people. Valentina has given this request a resounding red card. Giuseppe is therefore on the bench (in the greenhouse). At least he can fill his pipe in peace out here, he thinks, even if he can’t fill his football boots….
