Your use of this website and any purchase by you on this website of any products is governed by English Law and will be deemed to have taken place in England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We have tried to ensure that information provided on the website is accurate.  However, we make no representation and give no warranty of any kind in respect of the information. To the fullest extent permitted by the law The Vintage Art Gallery disclaims all warranties of any kind with respect to the content of this website.

 

We may correct any error appearing in the website or withdraw any product from sale without incurring liability. Price and availability is also subject to change without notice.

Any links on this website to other websites are provided for your interest only and we have no control over these sites and no responsibility or liability for their content and the links do not imply any endorsement of content.

 

Prices

 

All prices quoted excluded the current UK VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are expected. Orders will be processed at our published prices. In the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. 

 

Payment

 

Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, payment shall be due and payable at the time the order is placed and accepted by us. All goods remain the property of The Vintage Art Gallery until paid for in full. Title to goods will not pass to the customer until payment has been received in full.

 

For online orders, orders are processed automatically via fully secure servers. We will confirm acceptance of your online order by e-mail to the address you have given and the sending of this e-mail (whether or not it is received) forms the Contract between us.  

 

Cancellation

 

Cancellation of an order is only accepted before it has been processed and dispatched. Please contact us by telephone and confirm via email. Once the order has been dispatched, no cancellation is accepted. 

 

Delivery 

 

The majority of orders within the UK will be shipped within 5 working days of the order being placed. We will always notify you as soon as we are able of any delays in shipping.

 

We will arrange for delivery of the products you order to the address which you specify. However, the time for delivery shall not be essential to the contract between us. We may on occasion deliver the goods in several consignments but will not charge any extra delivery for this.

 

International delivery times vary according to our chosen courier.

 

We accept no responsibility in the event that goods are left as instructed by you without your presence at the time of delivery. If you fail to accept delivery of goods when delivered we reserve the right to attempt delivery of the goods at a later date and to invoice you a further delivery charge.

 

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to you upon delivery. Once goods have been signed for, you must notify us of any shortage, damage or fault as soon as is reasonably possible.

 

Returns

 

All our vintage products are sold as seen. Part of their charm is that their frames might be chipped, their string worn, or their canvas faded, so we don't refund for these kinds of defects. Be sure to check the photos and read the details in full before you buy!

If there is an error or any other delivery problem in respect of the products ordered, you must notify us by email within three days after the delivery date.  We will not be liable for any loss or damage if you fail to do this.  

 

If your painting has been damaged or broken in transit, you must contact us within 3 days, without using or further unpacking the goods, and return the damaged items to us within 30 days. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. In this instance will be very happy to refund you (via PayPal) in full. It will be your responsibility to return all goods in the same condition as they were upon delivery. You are advised to retain the original packaging in the event of you cancelling an order. 

 

Shipping cost is non-refundable and you are responsible to pay the delivery charges due for items returned for refund. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund any charges necessary for packaging/re-packaging, repair or cleaning of any goods returned not in the same condition as upon delivery. We are entitled to recover all costs, loss, charges and expenses incurred in connection with goods returned not saleable.

Liability

 

The Vintage Art Gallery and its partners or related companies shall not be liable for any losses or claims arising directly or indirectly from use of this website except that this exclusion of liability does not apply to any damages in connection with death or personal injury caused by the negligence of partners or employees at The Vintage Art Gallery.
