Attributed to Boudin, and a superb example of the original artist's wonderful social observation style. The majority of Boudin's genuine paintings are small landscapes of the harbours and beaches of the coast of northern France, and he was applauded for being introducing Monet to outdoor - plein air - painting (in fact, the two artist's worked together in the 1860s). This oil on board is rich in colour, full of wonderful details, and freshly framed by our master framer. We adore it (whether its by Eugene Boudin or not!). 29cm x 35cm frame size.
